A gift comes in. A warm note — in your voice — appears in your Drafts, ready to send. Every donor is remembered in a log your organization keeps forever, and three months later, a follow-up drafts itself so they hear what their gift made possible.
How it works
Your donation platform already emails you when someone gives — PayPal, Givebutter, DonorBox, Stripe, any of them. The recipe simply watches for those emails.
A small helper inside your own Google account reads the donor's name and amount, picks the right note — first gift, repeat gift, large gift — and writes it using templates in your voice.
The note lands in your Drafts folder. A human reads it, maybe tweaks a line, and clicks Send. Nothing ever goes out by itself. That's the pause button, and it's a feature.
Every donor is remembered in a Google Sheet — who gave, when, what they were told. Memory that stays, even when people move on.
Ninety days later, a follow-up drafts itself: "here's what your gift has been doing." Donors who hear that give again.

The do-it-yourself version has real limits, and we'd rather tell you than have you find out.
The templates are fixed — warm, but not written fresh for each donor. If your donation platform words its emails unusually, the name-reading may need a small adjustment (your AI can fix it in Step 6). And the follow-up note has a blank you must fill with a true, recent story — that part should never be automatic.
